Participants will learn about the steps in the district dyslexia screening process and identify specific assessments that can measure each characteristic associated with dyslexia. We will also discuss the characteristics of effective dyslexia-specific intervention, including the evidence-based support of what makes an intervention dyslexia-specific. This session will conclude with an overview of the pathways available to obtain increased levels of support to promote student reading development.
