IMPORTANT - Please note that this is only Part 1 of a 3-Part set of required course. This is the online content portion of the course. Parts 2 and 3 require participants to complete a skills checklist with the school nurse (once first semester, and once second semester).
Upon completion of this course, be sure to register for Parts 2 and 3 and complete the skills checklist with your nurse to be fully certified in assisiting students who have diabetes.
This course is for TRAINING CREDIT ONLY (not in-service credit). It can be completed during the regular workday hours, as needed.
This training has been developed by the Safety and Health Department to ensure that all CMCSS staff members that have volunteered to administer glucagon to our students have a full understanding of diabetes and the proper policies and procedures involved in the administration of glucagon in our schools.
